Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant received mixed reviews from customers who visited for MTL a la Table. Some mentioned the welcoming atmosphere and variety of menu options, while others were disappointed by the poor quality of the food, particularly the steaks. The service was consistently praised, with attentive staff and friendly waiters. The location in Old Montreal was highlighted as a positive aspect, but some customers found the prices to be too high for the portion sizes they received. Overall, the restaurant seemed to have potential, but fell short in terms of food quality and value for money.
We went to this restaurant after an afternoon of going to Bota Bota and Amaze. The food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The Hot Chocolate shots were awesome. Cannot wait to go back.
We had a lovely dinner at the restaurant with great service. We all has steaks and they were cooked seasoned perfectly to our liking. The appetisers were equally delicious and we throughly enjoyed the evening.
We made reservations several days before arriving in Montreal and wanted to have a nice steak dinner. We found it. We shared a wonderful Bordeaux wine. My wife and I ordered the escargot appetizer while my son had the salmon tartar for his appetizer and...he found it alright, but nothing special. The escargot appetizer was covered in melted cheese and the escargot were a good size, but could have had more flavour. We then ordered three 6 ounce fillet steaks with garlic mashed and vegetables for our mains. The steaks arrived perfectly cooked to our requests, the garlic mashed were soft and tasty and the coloured carrots and broccolini was a good addition. All three of us really enjoyed our steaks and meals. The waiter (knowing it was my birthday brought me a complimentary slice of chocolate cheese cake with a sparkler on it). it was a good desert. My son had the creme brulee and said it was good. Our server was efficient and polite we had a nice table. We would certainly return here.
Mediocre overpriced steaks and the one person in our party of 4 that had lobster was sick throwing up all night. Spent about $100 a head for 4 people and had the worst experience and the most expensive meal in a long long time. This...place needs to go out of business. It looks like an absent owner who doesn't care and whoever is running it has 0 standards. If you value your health stay away.
We were part of a 40 person tour group and got upgraded from a beer pub to this place. We had a choice of salmon or filet mignon. The filet, served with mashed potatoes, was very good but the salmon was a bit dry and...bland. Soup and salad were both good and dessert cake was just ok. Service for group was very good.
