Delicious food. The dishes were very fresh and of good quality. The dishes were generous and delicious. The food was of poor quality, undercooked or burnt. The bread was old and tough and the ham and bacon probably upset. We strongly advise against it for your own health. After we had to give the dishes back after 1 or 2 bites with vicarious shame... there was nothing the restaurant did to accommodate us. To be honest, after reading the many negative reviews (which are very similar), our group had mixed feelings about visiting this restaurant. Of course there must be a basis for these reviews, but it starts with yourself. If you walk in with the idea that it will be a worthless experience, the operators are already behind 1-0. What we experienced are hard working people, tasty food, a relaxed atmosphere and a feeling of being welcome as a guest. This also has to do with the fact that we did not sit down with a sad face to measure these (once again) hardworking people. We enjoyed the nicely presented, very tasty dishes and the smiles of the ladies who served them. If things are going well and are good, you can say so calmly. You will get that kindness back. If things are or are not going well, you can (must) say so. That is so honest and constructive. All too often, someone does not open his or her mouth at the moment, but the negative feelings are subsequently translated into a negative review. If you are a guest somewhere, you must also behave as a guest. Conversely, it is just as logical that a hostess/host with a negative attitude provokes negative behavior. It is your duty to make your guests happy, no matter how difficult that may be sometimes. Despite all the previous, mostly negative reviews, we can say that we had a great time and feel confident in recommending this restaurant.
We had a really good unlimited meal, nice and tasty dishes for a ridiculously low price, the quality was good, really nothing to complain about. Really terrible! After 40 minutes, someone finally came to take our order after having said 5 times, we'll be there soon! We got up after an hour and fifteen minutes because we hadn't had any food yet! The only thing we got was a sorry in poor English/Dutch! Even that one star is still 1 too many!
