"The whisky and chocolate he is a game made in the sky. the food was made from the heart and so delicious and fresh. start page made brot and homemade carrot soup. delicious! ros was the perfect host and patrick (the chef) even came out to have a chat. so inviting. if they are near dufftown, they have to try."

"What a delightful abode situated in the quaint and peaceful town of arbelour! Brilliant service, friendly and attentive, smiles all round, never a time where anything was too much, the kind of service you really want on holiday! The selection of whisky was incredible and so much knowledge and good recommendations behind them! There cigar humidor and outdoor smoking lounge was delightful! Brilliantly priced cigars once again brilliant service. To Frankie/freddie all the team, thank you for a wonderful experience, great food great place great time was had! THOROUGHLY ENJOYED"

"Although we don’t live that far away we had never actually visited Huntley before what a great little place it is. We came across this cafe it doesn’t look that stunning on the outside, and it’s quite old fashioned inside, but we had excellent coffee and scones and loved the relaxed atmosphere. What really made the visit for us though was our waitress, who could not have been more friendly and helpful. When there was a problem with our cafetiere she not only replaced it straight away, she also apologised profusely which was not necessary, as it was hardly her fault, but it was nice to be served by someone so obliging. She is a real asset to the cafe (didn’t catch her name but this was a Saturday lunchtime if that helps! I was also impressed with the attention to Covid measures all the tables were sanitised between customers, every single person staff and customers was properly masked, there was good spacing between the tables, and the toilet was very clean and well stocked."
