"Wonderful, full-bodied coffee and great sandwiches, all made to order. A good variety of house-baked muffins, scones, and banana bread. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff are happy to describe their offerings and make recommendations based on patron preferences. We are from New Mexico and we will definitely return for more deliciousness whenever we are traveling through on I-40. Love this place, the food and the folks!"

"Stopped in for a grilled cheese after a late hike, it hit the spot. The lodge has some neat trinkets to look at while you wait as well. Also the views of the valley from the dining area are breathtaking, you can even see it from the bear cave trail!"
