While the service may have been slow, it is a rare find to have a gluten-free kebab option in the western suburbs of Sydney. All meats and sauces are gluten-free and safe for those with celiac disease. The staff is friendly and accommodating. View all feedback.
What Fatima Bode doesn't like about Ali Baba:
We had the worst kebabs ever at this restaurant. They were soggy and not properly roasted, and fell apart as soon as we opened them. The service was poor and we received the wrong meat that we had paid for. We had tried Ali Barba in Mt Druitt before and were not very impressed, but decided to give it another chance. I've tried other Ali Baba restaurants around this area and never had to experience this in any of my visits.
I've tried other Ali Baba restaurants around this area and never had to experience this in any of my visits. During the visit to this specific restaurant I was quite unhappy with my meal. Rice was way overcooked and dry and the Kebabs were dry as well. So didn't enjoy the meal at all. Rice didn't taste like fresh either. Meal prices were unreasonable compare to serving size. Not recommended at all.
Although service was slow, it's nice to be able to get a gluten free kebab in western Sydney. All meats and sauces are also gluten free and safe for coeliacs. Staff are friendly.
Unfortunately, we will never be going back again. Unlike other kebab shops that include cheese in their kebabs, this restaurant charges an additional $1.50 for cheese.
I have visited other Ali Baba restaurants before, but I have never had an experience like the one I had at this particular one. I was very disappointed with my meal during my visit. The rice was overcooked and dry, and the kebabs were also dry. The food did not taste fresh at all. Additionally, the prices of the meal were too high considering the portion sizes and quality of service.
