Had amazing burgers. Everything was good. Wine, beer, mixed drinks. License plates everywhere.

Kind of hard to give 5 ? so a strong 4 ? rating. If you like burgers this is an excellent place to go, other than that chicken is another choice but typical fried white meat tenders. Our party of five arrived around 3:30pm and chose the outside screenedin seating (glad it's screened or the river bugs could be an issue). Lyndsay was our server and am pleased to say she is a 5 ?server and employee. I ordered the Chef Salad but with Grouper but think I got Mahi-Mahi. It was a small fish serving for $20.48and rather tasteless so 3 ?. Bill got the Bacon Cheeseburger and loved it so 5 ?. One guest only wanted soup so not only orderedone but a second bowl of Clam Chowder ???? a real 5 ?. Chicken Fingers were good but $8.40 for four strips is a bit much so 4 ?.Another guest tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich with a $3.99 side of excellent onion rings and a questionable side of coleslaw.Sandwich 5 ?, Onion Rings 5 ? but Slaw ???? zero ?. Don't forget if you are a local mention that (with proof) and your tablegets 10% off. Parking is good but the lot is in need of serious repair. River City has a good reputation and can see why thiscasual dining place deserves your visit.

Every time we come to the beach this is our families favorite place to eat. The Hamburgers are so juicy and always cooked just right. They have anything you want to put on a hamburger. My Daughter has chili put on her fries, they will also put cheese onthem to if you request it. The staff are always friendly and go out of their way to help you. Everyone is always smiling andhappy. Lunch on the Waccamaw River by the swing bridge. This rustic, chain restaurant with its colorful motif of brightly painted chairs on a scuffed cement floor, tin roof shanty style booths and license plate, road and beer signs chic decor. Free peanutsand if you like you can join the scrawling of many marring the walls. Known for their world famous, never frozen burgers, theyoffer over 20 options, even a veggie, turkey and the two monster burgers ?Kitchen Sink? and ?OMG.? Appetizers, salads, handdipped onion rings and hand cut fries, dawgs, chicken sandwiches and other beach favorite platters round out the menu. My BajaBLT Chicken came with a good size chicken breast marinated in their own homemade pineapple soy blend. Decked out with crisplettuce, fresh tomato, mayo, hickory smoked bacon and melted provolone served on a wheat bun. Guacamole was put on the sidealong with a heaping handful of fries and a cup of their chunky, sweet coleslaw. Service was commendable, food enjoyable andprices reasonable.

Best burgers in town...and great handcut fries. Try the Avocado Ranch Dip with your fries! And the onion rings are amazing too!
