Restaurang J - Nacka Strand

Ate here quite a few years ago and happy memories of good food. It’s fair to say it’s gone less fancy since then not terrible but more gastropub than top end. Booked to sit outside and watched the sun go down. Very pleasant it...was too! Two issues. Table next to us got lots of attention and little tasting dishes thrown in. Just rather pointed given the lack of attention we got. Which was exacerbated when we got the bill, unasked for...without having received our mains yet. To be fair, waitress was mortified (if a little sweary) and quickly had it sorted. But rather summed it up. So, if you’re already there, definitely try it, but not good enough to warrant the trip out especially.

Nice location with nice open and sunny sea views. Nice staff. Quick service. Food was ok, but nothing special. Toast Skagen was rather small.

I'm 15-20x here now, for the first time with my children. they loved it. casual eating, but not many possibilities.

We had such a great time in this restaurant that we were here 3 times in 10 days. very friendly staff and good eating! would recommend for families.

Dinner here watching the traffic on the water was really enjoyable although I wasn't overly impressed with the food. A salmon gravadlax was OK (odd crumb over it which I didn't like). Burger fine. Service fine. Still worth doing for the location.
