Contribute FeedbackDespite receiving mixed reviews, The Jalapeño Tree in Nacogdoches, Texas, seems to have left some patrons disappointed while others quite satisfied. One disgruntled customer complained of high prices, poor service, and lackluster food quality, suggesting that the restaurant may be on the decline. Another diner was left unimpressed by the experience and questioned the restaurant's longevity. On the other hand, a party of 37 ladies was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service and the great time they had. While some patrons experienced issues with their orders and waiting times, others praised the delicious food and friendly staff. Overall, it seems that The Jalapeño Tree may leave some guests disappointed but could still provide a positive dining experience for others.
This particular J Tree has consistently impressed me. The food is always amazing. The chefs here genuinely care about their craft, not just churning out dishes, and it shows in the flavor. The servers and hosts are fantastic as well. I can’t wait to return!
The service was disappointing. We waited a long time for our food, and although everyone was friendly, they seemed to be moving in slow motion. Our waiter struggled to get our order correct. Additionally, the restrooms were quite unclean.
This particular J Tree has consistently astonished me. The food is always exceptional. The chefs here take pride in their work rather than just focusing on churning out dishes, and it really shows in the flavors. The servers and hosts are fantastic as well. I will definitely be returning!
The prices are steep, the service is lacking, and the food is disappointing. I’ve only had good experiences at Mexican or Tex-Mex restaurants in Nacogdoches, and this definitely isn't one of them. The restaurant needs to hire better English-speaking staff, improve the cleanliness of the space, and enhance the flavors of the food. It has all the signs of a place that might close down soon. I definitely won't be returning.
The complimentary sauces were excellent and kept me occupied while I waited for my meal. I really liked that each person receives their own dish of hot sauce. I ordered the beef fajitas for one, and they were fantastic. The fajita dipping sauce was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of heat. I ended up dipping every bite of my fajita taco into the sauce. I also appreciated the variety of add-ons, as many restaurants charge extra for those. Overall, it was a great value for the money. I highly recommend the Jalapeño Tree in Nacogdoches, Texas!
