Excellent fish and chips and the pie from all accounts from others excellent. Staff were friendly although slow at times when the owner wasn't there but all in all good. I've eaten at Cafe Restaurant twice lunch. Both times, I was not impressed with the food. The Seafood Chowder Hot Pot Pie sauce was bland and gluggy The fish tasted cheap. The Chicken Caesar Salad was plain and tasteless. The menu is over...priced pub food. The dessert, Sticky Date Fig Pudding was a meal big enough for two -three hungry people.
