Contribute FeedbackThe Dolphin restaurant in downtown Natick offers a mixed dining experience, with some customers enjoying delicious meals such as scallops and swordfish, while others were disappointed with the quality of their dishes. Some highlighted Taco Tuesday as a great option, praising the sea bass and baja fish tacos. However, there were complaints about inconsistencies in the food quality and menu changes. Service received mixed reviews, with some praising the attentive staff and others mentioning confusion with reservations. Overall, it seems that the Dolphin may have some room for improvement in terms of food quality and service following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Unfortunately, this will be our final visit to the Dolphin as they are closing down to reinvent themselves. The fried fish platter was generous and cooked lightly (not greasy), and the seafood and pasta were equally tasty. We asked for Diavlo sauce, which added a nice spicy kick and was delicious. The service was excellent as usual. We are excited to see what the next version of the restaurant will be like.
The service at this restaurant is exceptional! The bartenders, especially Andy, Kim, and Jake, are very friendly and attentive. They remember your name and drink preferences, and are always willing to accommodate your requests. They also make excellent menu suggestions. We love the cozy atmosphere of this local spot. The food and portion sizes are fantastic as well. Don't miss out on trying the Salmon and Buffalo Bites. And to top it off, they even offer free warm rolls and butter!
I don't understand why this place has low ratings. I enjoy dining at this local seafood restaurant! I have been here before for happy hour and tried the dollar Wellfleet.
My husband and I went to the restaurant last night with a big group. I ordered the fried clams and he got the seafood Marsala. Unfortunately, my clams were small and lacked flavor.
The restaurant has changed since Covid. I have heard that it will be closing on January 1, 2022.
