Our third trip to New Bern and had been wanting to try this place. Glad we made reservations for a Saturday in August, as we didn’t realize how tiny it was. We were informed by our attentive and knowledgeable waiter that they will be relocating soon to the next block which will necessitate a name change! hopefully a larger space so more folks will be able to enjoy the delicious, creative cuisine, artfully presented.... Another win again at 247Cane in for lunch today and sat at bar which brought me the company of the wonderful bar tender and manager Miss Gaby.
I see a lot of reviews complaing about the noise level.
How about a little atmosphere? What a bland ambience..a very small and stark room.Food actually was great but took forever to get waited on and bread?
Can not wait until the new location opens. always a great meal. only the weight is the noise level. if a large group sits, then their conversation seems to be repulsed from the walls. that said we will still spend our special occasions at 247 craven
The lammschaft was excellent and also the scallops!
