Golden Wall Chinese Restaurant

Great location but not so tasty food. It's not a fine dine rather a counter self served food. Ordered a fried rice which wasn't good at all, barely eatable, it was made of sticky rice and the chicken on it wasn't nice either. The chicken lo-mein fun was better than the fried rice but again average too. The vegetable spring rolls were okie. Hot and sour soup again was just average. I don't think I will go back to eat here. Again location was good for the restaurant which is the best thing about the restaurant It's right on Canal street in downtown.

First attempt at an order was 5/17 Placed on hold for more than 15 minutes. 5/18 Stopped by in person on my way back to my hotel and decided to give it a try. Very Unorganized and Many different delivery services had different prices. (I'm not saying 25 or 50 cents, rather $2 $6 on items. (Apple phone users Yelp is being Heavily Pushed and Android, Uber Eats and Post Mates are being pushed Check your Prices and make sure the websites they are using have current and VALID Security Certificates!!!! Also make sure the sites are local. One delivery site was from New York trying to relay orders to the New Orleans Area which was nearly three times the menu prices... I ordered 3 appetizers; Fried Dumplings, Chicken Teriyaki and the boneless ribs. Both the Ribs and chicken were doused in a red sweet sauce and the chicken teriyaki had no teriyaki flavor. The Dumplings were very good yet the menu stated 10 and there was only 8. For the $26 it was expected. Anyone considering getting the boneless ribs don't bother. Very low grade pork with significant gristle and extremely dry.

Ordered house special fried rice and crab meat lomein. I got veggie fried rice, which lacked flavor. The lo mein was decent enough.

Eating here is standard Chinese. I've eaten a dozen times here. they are very consistent with their eating. service is quite fast, about 10 minutes when I order 2-3 items. the prices are pretty good (approx. $12 per item,) considering that they are on canal st and are open late. I have no complaints, 5 stars.

Very good food. They tried to kill me, even though lol. I told them I was allergic to garnish that I was accidentally given. they obviously only moved the tear instead of changing the plate and making new. Thank you, I expected this and had plates with my daughter who had veggie rice. that is, when my daughter had eaten several garnels, was found in this teller when I had eaten it, I would have been in the hospital, so please be careful if they had allergies that they obviously did not take seriously. again the sweetheart as very good. Just eat them on their own risk.
