This is literally the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had in nyc. As someone who is Bengali and frequents Jackson heights, I’m really impressed by all the amazing flavors available here. I’m obsessed with the chicken tikka masala and garlic naan goes so well with it. They also have the best mango lassi I’ve ever had, they’ve nailed the thickness of it perfectly. View all feedback.
What Kiley Ziemann doesn't like about Aangan Indian Cuisine:
This was my first experience trying Indian cuisine. The restaurant had good service, but the food was a bit slow to come out. My vegetarian dish was a bit undercooked, and the fish was slightly undercooked as well, but still edible. The highlight of the meal for me was the delicious bread. Overall, it was an average dining experience. View all feedback.
The service was good, but I would not order pakoras from here. the teig was completely raw from inside and gave me a bad stomach pain.
I had an unpleasant experience the first time I ordered, but I was impressed by the extremely considerate customer service and apologies afterwards and by the quality of the food the next time I ordered from them. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
I was in the mood for Indian food, and found Aangan on Open Table. I'm so glad that I did. I had the most delicious meal lentil soup, shrimp curry and rosemary naan. The service was excellent and the prices most affordable. A great dining option on the UWS.
