Best Italian restaurant I’ve visited in the States!
Very busy because of the theater district. Fantastic service. Good food. I recommend.
My boyfriend and I stopped in at Becco for a pre show meal. We had reservations through OpenTable and stopped in early since it was cold out they had no problems accommodating us and we were seated immediately. The tables are indeed pretty snug but we had a good time chatting with closeby tables and enjoying the atmosphere. We both got the pasta special including penne ala vodka with shrimp, a pesto pasta with green beans, and a cocoa pumpkin ravioli. The penne was my absolute favorite and I had the waiters drop by with a few helpings and they were not skimping! I don't like pumpkin at all but had to give the cocoa pumpkin ravioli a shot and actually was pretty intrigued by it. Our waiter was Nino and he was one of the most fantastic waitstaff that we have ever had. My boyfriend said he wouldn't be surprised if the man was born and raised in the restaurant and knew it like the back of his hand.
