Blt Steak New York

My boyfriend and I went for restaurant week and here is my honest review. There is no parking however there is a small parking lot two doors down. We went on a Friday night and paid for two hours which was great. We were seated right away which was amazing because we were starving. The restaurant is a little too dimly lit for my liking but the booth was comfortable. I wasn’t a fan of the bread. It was crispy on the outside and under baked on the inside however, I was told that’s how it’s supposed to be. For my meal I choose the Cesar salad, NY strip steak with mash potatoes and the chocolate sundae for dessert. They have a very limited menu for restaurant week therefore I would suggest you review the menu before you go. The salad was good. My waiter told me the mash potatoes that came with the steak was a tea spoon serving and suggested I order an extra side of mash potatoes. Needless to say I was livid. The side of mash was literally a tea spoon size...who does that? I paid for an extra side of mash which was more like cream of wheat. It was way to runny. I was annoyed because after thinking about it I could have gotten the filet mignon which is what I really wanted but trying to save a buck I got caught up in the hype. The sundae was good and the waiter was great. Not in a rush to go back and don’t understand what the hype is about this place
