Had a hard time deciding what to order because of all the menu options and so many unique and delicious looking pizzas! All vegetarian, mostly vegan though. And tons of gluten free options which is nice to see too! Would definitely go back to try some other varieties
I stopped by Cafe Viva on the Upper West Side. They've been serving #vegan pizza for almost 30 years! I got one of their classic slices the Zen with crumbled miso tofu, pesto, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and sun dried tomatos on a spelt crust. It has an earthy, healthy feel but with delicious flavors. I also tried the Stromboli with vegan sausage and peppers. It was great. They also have vegan pastas (including lasagna), gluten free options, and a great selection of sweets from Vegan Treats (the amazing bakery in Pennsylvania): Peanut Butter Bombs, Tiramisu, Carrot Cake and more. Definitely check this out especially if you're on the UWS and need vegan or gluten free options!
Good pizza, great vegan tiramisu and other desserts best I’ve ever had! Vegan or not!!! I love whipped cream and the texture and taste of their tiramisu is great. All the desserts here are vegan which is a switch cuz most places dont think about vegan dessert. Pizza is very good too.
A few Vegan pies, and pasta dishes, they also carry vegan desserts, there vegan veggie pizza is amazing, all their vegan options are very good and they won't break the bank.
As a vegan, this was the first time I have ever been able to walk in to a NYC pizza place and order a slice it was heaven! There were 7 different vegan options from which to choose. I had the zen, which was amazing. It was expensive $6.75) but was filling and like a whole meal. My friends got vegetarian pizza and liked it. We went back again the next day, and since I am moving to the neighborhood, I forsee myself eating there a lot! Wonderful!!!
