Hi-Life Bar Grill is a popular neighborhood restaurant on the Upper West Side, established in 1991. The 1930's decor sets the stage for classic bar grill dishes such as flame-grilled steaks, hamburgers, fresh fish specials, pasta bowls, salads, and a Sushi Raw bar. Hi-Life was a pioneer in NYC, introducing a traditional sushi bar to non-Japanese restaurants in 1993. Called in last night for a meal and found it underwhelming. Steak ok, salmon small not what it was. Staff ok but by 9pm it was empty when normally it would be busy until 11pm Wouldn’t return I’m afraid

Dropped in for lunch. Garlic prawns, meatballs, chicken wings and chips were all fine. Nothing great but tasty. The service was very good.

Nice restaurant located centrally in Puerto del carmen, friendly staff with a good selection of drinks and foods to choose from. I had the Spaghetti Prawn Arrabbiata and my husband had the Monster burger which was just that!

Fabulous night great atmosphere, staff catered for my allergy which was a massive thing for me, i was made to feel very welcome and was very confident eating here, i would highly recommend to anyone who struggles to find a place that will cater for them as i have had many experiences with this..

I had the best seabass I've ever tasted cooked in a lemon butter sauce so I went back the 2nd night and the food was the exact same.... 10/10 I'll be back again each time we visit
