McHale's Bar Grill - New York

Stopped for lunch before Wicked. It appeared that they were short of help, so the service was slow it took visits to the table just to deliver our drinks , but also among the most unfriendly I have ever received. While my salad was decent although the cheese was fried, my friend’s cobb salad looked to be made with lettuce past its prime. My other friend was served the special Irish breakfast without the baked beans that were to be included. We felt badly for the waitress to some extent, and weren’t complaining, but we cannot recommend this restaurant

Perfect place for a before or after theatre bite. Attentive staff, lots of choices of entrees and appetizers to fit your mood or a picky guest. Can’t go wrong at this pleasant midtown spot. Best Guinness this side of the Atlantic

Service was phenomenal, food was ok very limited menu, even for a bar. But we came here for a quick preshow meal and the waitress was fast, efficient and extremely helpful. Recommend for pretheater dinner or drinks with a large group, if you mostly prefer burgers and chicken
