I was thrilled to discover a restaurant that offers Thai-style soup noodles! However, when I looked at the menu inside, I was disappointed to see that they did not offer them. View all feedback.
What Hattie Heathcote doesn't like about Topaz Noodle Bar:
Was really looking forward to trying Virgils. The Memphis BBQ ribs were excellent. However, I was deeply disappointed with the Texas BBQ brisket. All I had was pieces of fat. Very little actual meat. View all feedback.
The restaurant is truly fantastic. The food is delicious and quite authentic compared to other Thai restaurants in the city.

Food- 5/5: I ordered the spicy veggie drunken noodles and found the flavor to be rich and delicious, although it may not be as spicy as I had expected.
We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible.
Enjoyed the food and ambiance but the music downstairs was a little loud, could not hear my friends across the table from me!
