Contribute FeedbackExperience a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant with tasty food and a personable server. Vero may not have been impressive to all, with sweet sangria and a limited menu, but it offers a good happy hour deal. Perfect for smaller gatherings, enjoy great food and specials without pasta. While some found the quality and atmosphere lacking, others were thrilled by the old-world Italian charm, delicious food, and excellent service. A favorite spot for wine and people-watching, Vero offers consistent food and a huge sangria selection. For those seeking a top-notch date spot, enjoy a great dinner with friendly service, outstanding dishes, and a surprisingly good cocktail list. Whether looking for a special dish on New Year's Day or a fun place to meet new people, Vero offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience.
My favorite place to go after work for drinks and foodA hot spot in the UES for industry folk If you can, try to go while Nick is working.
Actually unreal but I suppose it happensCame here on a Tuesday night with my girlfriends ready for some post work drinks and food.
Vero is a solid UES spot for happy hourThe $5 sangrias (5 flavors) are generally goodI highly recommend the mango flavor.
This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
I haven't been back in a few years. I wanted a comfortable place to spend an evening with friends. Reminds of Via Veneto ... and it didn't disappoint! Cool, comfortable and the food was wonderful! We will come back!
