We stayed at this campground two weeks ago and used Kelham Hall as our starting point for a cycling trip to the Newark Showground. Lovely campsite! Perfect for large groups of campers and stunning walks in the surrounding area. There is a pub nearby that serves delicious pizza and homemade dishes. I would give them 4 stars, but the toilets were not very clean and quite old. Also, the campsite was a far walk from the facilities. If they were updated, this place would be amazing!
We had a great one-night stay at this restaurant. We make it a point to bring the grandchildren here at least once a year. They were slightly disappointed that the hall was closed, but they thoroughly enjoyed exploring the grounds, climbing trees, finding antlers, pinecones, owl houses, cannon holes, and taking walks along the river. The two parks on the property kept us all very busy. We will definitely be back for another visit soon.
Beautiful location .plenty of trees and gras. toilets and shower simple, but clean. have you not returned?
This is a amazing place to get away from it all. The grounds where lovely. Nice big pitches and friendly staff
