at us order quite a lot from this take away. arranged cormas to be a madras hot. waited an hour and half so that there are two standard cormas to turn. Normally, I would only accept it, but that's not the first time it happened. you should tell them that they would send a new one within minutes later, I'll wait for a new curry. I have been back and told them that I was still tired and how long it was answer I got it... View all feedback.
Ordered a takeaway meal for the family, excellent food, very tasty and highly recommended, at a very reasonable price. Would certainly recommend
Unlike the proliferation of other Brit Curry houses in the area, this one concentrates on the food quality. No highly coloured sauces, not for them the general curry flavoured gravy (i.e., they'll never spot the difference) approach. If you order a pathia or rogan josh,...that's what you get. If you order chapattis or Naan they are made on the premises. They don't take the mickey and are pleased when you offer your custom. That's how it should be. Inexpensive quality Indian grub.
Couple of weeks ago me and my husband decided to order some Indian food from my fave Indian takeaway,Newark tandoori. We order from there at least twice a month.Usually have no problems at all untill the last time in which i will never eat from there...again.I rang for my husband and my son,who is and they said it would be with us within the hour.I waited an hour and minutes before calling to see were it was to be told it had just left and would be with us in minutes.I waited another minutes and called again,it was getting late and my son was hungry and should of been getting ready for bed.He was surprised it hadn't got to me and said he would call the driver. When the driver arrived minutes over the hour he seemed like he had been drinking,he swore at my husband to when passing over the change .Although they gave us the meal just under half price the rice and bread was cold as were the chips and the Curry's were just luke warm.My son had to have something else and my husband couldn't eat his.We won't be ordering from there again which is a shame because there food is great and we were regulars.
Thought that I would treat myself to a nice take away while watching the Rugby last Friday evening, I ordered my meal over the phone, and I can honestley say it was a excellent experience from start to finish, very polite mannerd over the phone,...quick delivery, good reasonable price, and most of all my meal was excellent, I will certainly be using this place again, highly recommended.
Tonight, I just have a tasty bite for me that are great curry fans, we lived in a village between newark and bingham, so I had a quick look at prices and newark tandoori were for a huh court and the competition. were everywhere, so I thought I would give it a bit. we had a madras, a rogan josh and a tikka dhansak with peshwari nans and cooked rice. to my taste buds it was all excellent with the subtle aromas of rogan josh and dhansak, which really came through beautiful and my madras was for the heat at place and place without blowing my head off! I would have enjoyed something more sweet in my peshwari nan, but it was probably more authentic on this wise. I was a bit surprised that they did not sell papadums, but if it had been too much! they quoted a minute pickup time and it was ready in delighted customers highly recommended
