The woman at the front desk did not have a record of our reservation and was unfamiliar with Open Table. As a result, we did not have a table and had to eat in the bar for our birthday dinner. The manager was almost as unfriendly as the hostess, and his way of compensating us was to cover one drink for our party of two. It was a disappointing experience that we do not wish to go through again. View all feedback.
The food was adequate, but would benefit from more variety and newer options. The service was good. The prices are a bit high in comparison to the portion sizes.
I expected the food to be expensive but didn't expect such poor service and food quality.
I took friends who were stuck for two days and nights at Newark airport due to airline cancellations for which United it did absolutely nothing for them Including no baggage- they finally got a place to sleep and at HoJoe’s at the end of the world so coming to the aviation grill for lunch was quite welcome. I was surprised that the service was a little bit slow for being an airport based hotel but I was also extremely disappointed to be charged $21 in the parking lot for an hour and a half lunch -there was no indication that there was a way to Stamp my ticket so it’s a little embarrassing as I was treating friends who are already stressed with no luggage in their 80s and stuck in the bowels of the north terminal neighborhood. of North terminal with no way to get around. The food was quite good though.
Excellent food and generous portions; wonderful service....a great place in the airport grounds that stays open late.
Excellent service. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I highly recommend the Aviation Grill for a great dining experience.
