What orla l doesn't like about The Crown Inn:
the pub is lovely and a great cozy interior, however the food was extremely underwhelming. The menu was not great and the food was worse . I ordered the sea bass it came out cold and the sauce it was in tasted like blended up fish and cream . i couldn’t possibly finish this . the menu wasn’t good as there wasn’t a good choice or selection of food . That was our third Sunday in three weeks, so the pressure was on. but eating the atmosphere and the service were there with the best! what a sound! we have already booked to go back to silvester! I can't wait!
The restaurant was bustling, but we were promptly served. The portions were huge, and the pies were delicious. The chocolate sponge was very tasty, and the chocolate sauce was made with real chocolate.
Always great food and service there. Great night had by all.
This pub is fantastic. The bartender is a true gentleman, I cannot speak highly enough of him. The best bar staff around!
