What Happyshopper doesn't like about Napoli Centrale:
Service was non-existent or incredibly slow! The restaurant was not packed, we were booked in for an early dinner. But the staff just swanned around avoiding the tables and not attending to customers. When drinks finally arrived, the beer was flat! Don't bother, you can definitely get much better service and food elsewhere. View all feedback.
Decided to drop in on a Sunday night and they had a live band playing, ordered a gorgeous pasta dish with pork and fennel sausage, delicious and had a lovely aperol Spritz to take me back to Italy .... then went across the road to Popolo for Gelato ... which is as good as any I had in Italy ... 10/10 meal, closest thing to an actual Italian pizza I've had in Newcastle. 4 vegan options. Metre long pizzas. Can't wait to go back.

Completely understand why this place is always packed now and we should have had a reservation. These are very traditional style Italian pizzas where less is more so they can let the flavours sing to you. The best pizzas I have ever had are always on a fresh base and the combination of toppings are sensational. If you don't walk out in a food coma you're not at the right place then.
