Beautiful place. Like most wedding venues the dinning crowd is not as important. Clam chowder was great, chicken wings were meaty and tender (just don't care for that particular seasoning). The burger was OK had better at Applebee's of all places. Wine sangrias were very good. View all feedback.
What Douglas Wright doesn't like about Safari Room Restaurant:
Six of us went for brunch. We booked based on the location and Open Table Diners choice award noted on the website. The location lived up to the photos but the food was so very disappointing. Service wasn’t great either. Food was mediocre at best. If you want a drink to sit and look at the view then go. If you want a meal, go else where. View all feedback.
The Safari Room is truly a dining experience to remember First off, the view of Narragansett Bay is worth the trip on its own.

This was our second visit to Saltwater Grill. The food was delicious and the service unmatched. We will definitely dine here again on our next visit to Galveston.
The food was tasty. The waiter was a little less than average as far as skill set. I didn't care for how they ran out of bread. It was very noisy in the section that we were sat in. But all in all it was not a bad experience just didn't knock my socks off.
