There was of us dining for the first time for dinner during restaurant week. We sat in the tent due to Covid. The candles and heat lamps created a warm and cozy ambiance although a slight breeze coming from the tent opening provided great ventilation . Our waiter, Kevin was friendly and professional . Food was delicious and I thought it was appropriately priced View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Safari Room:
We were disappointed by the menu. The fig flat cake was overloaded with fig jam. The Clam-Chowder was lukewarm. Salad was just fine. Short ribs excellent. Wine was overpriced and selection limited. Server was very pleasant and took the Clam Chowder from the bill. View all feedback.
This place is a hidden gem for the location and atmosphere alone. We go practically every other weekend. Summer menu is better than the fall menu. The clam chowder is always good. The summer beet salad is phenomenal. Blueberry crème brûlée is outstanding. Skip the pumpkin crème brulee as it’s overly spiced and more like pudding than a true custard.
Staff were extremely accommodating and attentive. My chicken caprese sandwich was not good; the chicken was chewy, and the bread soggy with very little taste. I’d recommend Safari room, but don’t order the chicken sandwich. Order the truffle fries.
We had the clam chowder and it was excellent and a large portion. We were there for brunch and had the lobster benedict and the veggie frittata, both came with potatoes and arugula salad. The view was beautiful and the service was attentive.
Our server Nina was friendly and personable. The property is absolutely gorgeous.Food was overall very tasty. The valet service was appreciated, and the valet was quick and affable.
Everyone loved their meals. Calamari was outstanding. The Bucatini with clams was the best I ever had.
