Oldstead Cafe - Newstead

After a couple of weeks without the A Team it is great to see the Olstead back in the swing. Had a great bacon and egg bagel with cheese and hollandaise sauce and a latte for an amazing $7. Food is great and the atmosphere is really laid back as well. Worth a visit for breakfast or lunch.

I think this is the only cafe I've ever been to where I've been served just one egg as part of a breakfast meal. Or one rasher of bacon. Or one sausage. If nothing else, I suppose that the tiny plates suit the tiny portion size.Coffee was average. Simply not good enough by today's standards.

I visit this establishment most days during the week for a coffee as a break from work. Prices are good, staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing, exactly what you want on a 20 min break from the stresses of work . The food is above expectations for a coffee shop, served to order and presented well. I am a very happy customer and would recommend to anybody in the Newstead area of Brisbane .

Simply put Oldstead make the best burgers in Brisbane. They are flavoursome and generous in size. Jay, Bally and the team go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and a valued customer. The cafe is clean and comfortable. I'm a massive fan of Oldstead Cafe

I have eaten here once before and the food and coffee was great. Came after work for a late breakfast at 11:30, super hungry, closed. Staff still inside. Advertised as open till 3pm on google page, 12pm on the sign at the cafe. Very disappointed. Need to sort out these issues.
