Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant at the Peller Estate winery offers a pleasant atmosphere with excellent service, but some guests found the food to be underwhelming for the price. There were mixed reviews regarding the quality of the dishes, with some mentioning issues such as gluten contamination or lukewarm temperatures. Despite this, others praised the food as delicious and perfectly portioned, particularly enjoying the fish special and lobster pasta. The wine selection was also well-received. The restaurant received criticism for its high prices and small portion sizes, but the staff were described as accommodating and helpful. Overall, the restaurant seems to offer a mixed experience, with some guests enjoying the unique flavors and presentation, while others were disappointed by the prices and food quality.
My 3 girlfriends and I attended for dinner to celebrate my friend's birthday. We had a lovely waitress who recommended the 5 course tasting menu and wine choice. She also gave us complimentary champagne. The food in the tasting menu was all excellent and delicious. We were absolutely stuffed and enjoyed the ambiance.
Always very good. The five course tasting menu with the course wine pairing is one of our regular favorites. Tonight’s meal experience was no exception. Some confusion at the hostess station prior to being seated but the dining room experience was on par with past visits.
The food was pure perfection. The only issue was that this was a romantic date, stated this on the reservation even dressed extremely well but felt a little let.down by the reception. Other restaurant choose a corner table and go out of their way to make the evening special.
The restaurant located in Peller Vineyard has a lovely and formal setting. Despite having reservations for noon, the limited menu left much to be desired. The apple and squash salad I ordered had old, wilted leaves and chewy squash. The black truffle and linguine dish fared slightly better, with the truffle being the standout component. My dining companion's beef short ribs, while flavorful, were on the fatty side. The bill for four people and a bottle of wine exceeded $400, including tip. I recommend reviewing the menu beforehand. Unfortunately, the food quality fell short of expectations. Our server was friendly but overwhelmed with too many tables, causing a delay in settling the bill. Additionally, there were flies present in the dining room, which was unexpected in an elegant indoor restaurant.
The food is delicious, wine pairings are fantastic and service is the best. We just keep coming back.
