We enjoyed supper at this restaurant along with two of my young children and found the staff to be exceptionally skilled, pleasant, friendly, accommodating. The quality and freshness of food was excellent, authentic, served with careful detail making it taste as good as it looked. The waitress smiled each time and offered refills on the seasonal veggies and kimchi. The prices were reasonable for the type of cuisine,... View all feedback.
What Nathen Jaskolski doesn't like about A Young Korean Restaurant:
The food was gross and expensive. Ordered different teriyakis and they where all disgusting and didn't even taste like teriyaki. There was a rib dish that was the only thing that was really good but cost 40cad for the one small dish that my 7 year old ate. The soup/broth that they gave us was questionable and nobody could stomach to finish. Not what I was hoping for since the place smelled so good. The service sucked... View all feedback.
Over priced Korean BBQ because its close to Niagara Falls. I mean let's just say it's not worth it to spend so much money for not so great food.
I LOVE Korean foodBut If there was a lower rating than one star, I would rate it that way.
We each got a bibimbap with bulgulgi for dinnerThe bowls arrived in the stone bowls nice and warm.
We were seated quickly, which was nice. The waitress was very nice, but I felt that she was a bit intimidated because we weren't Korean. The menus had lots of options crossed off, and although it didn't say it, they informed us a little late that their Korean bbq options were not available that night. Nonetheless, we ordered. The calamari was really nice. The other food was also good too. The Korean appetizers they served with the meals were really great, especially the seaweed. It was just a little bit odd, we weren't really checked on much at all and we were waiting about 25 minutes for our bill. Good food, but the service wasn't the best. Their food is still really nice though so if you're in the mood for Korean food I would just go here.
The moment you enter the restaurant you feel a sense of calm with the soft music playing as you ascend the stairs to the restaurant. You are greeted by the most pleasant hostess/waitress. The decor has a perfect setting for elegant dining experience. The food was amazingly delicious, especially the kalbi ribs and bulgogi. The teriyaki chicken was okay. All in all, what a fabulous place to take your loved ones.
