I grew up in the Caribbean and always crave home-style food. So when I heard about this new restaurant, I was very excited. However, upon walking in, I was disappointed by the atmosphere and the lack of fresh food. The place felt more like a mix of a grandmother's living room and a storage space, with microwaves and a steam table as the main equipment in the kitchen. The food was overpriced and not worth the money, with large portions that were not appetizing. The rice and beans were old, and the roti was not what I was told it was. Overall, it was a waste of money and a huge disappointment. I hope that one day a Caribbean restaurant in the area will provide an accurate representation of our culture and food.

Despite its small size, seating only 16 people, the menu boasts a variety of dishes including oxtail stew, curried goat, and roti. I opted for the curried goat and was impressed by the perfectly cooked goat, slightly spicy curry base, and exceptional roti. The wait time for the freshly made food was less than 10 minutes. Overall, dining at Edwins was a pleasant experience with delicious food that felt like home cooking. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting.
