I have eaten here whenever I am in Nice. So that's probably more than half a dozen times over ten years. And my wife and I always share the seafood Paella which is one of their signature dishes. The restaurant has undergone at least two renovations during this period. Currently it is very comfortable and the management is highly organized and proficient. You will not be kept waiting. What YasGreen doesn't like about Boccaccio:
Had a very good paella with chorizo. Large servings. Wine was very good too. The only negative comment I have is the price. Very expensive but this is the French Riviera. View all feedback.
This is a beautiful restaurant with an outdoor seating area. The wine list is wonderful and the food is outstanding!! We found this restaurant via word of mouth from the locals in Nice and it certainly did not disappoint! The lobster spaghetti was outstanding and the lobster salad was fresh and phenomenal!! This restaurant can have a waiting list, but the wait is worth it!! Everyone around me was loving their food! Portions are large so come hungry!! It is a "must eat at" every time I go to Nice!!
Fish based, we always have the set menu for lunch which seems good value and never disappoints. Like most places in Nice if you say hello to all the team when you arrive they engage. We eat inside so we get the air con.
Located near the center and very close to our hotel we made a reservation to eat dinner here. We were lucky to have made it as once we arrived we could see a big queue forming up at the entrance of the restaurant. We dined inside at the 1st floor and the design was like in a ship's restaurant with circular windows, very classy. The serving was very fast and the waiter was friendly. We ordered seafood linguine and lobster spaghetti and they were really tasty. Also the portions were huge. Combined with a very good wine and the night was a success :)
We wanted to treat ourselves and this is a very good place. Centrally located with a nice parking nearby, and right on the beginning of the walking area.I was surprised because it has recently been renovated and the new interior design is modern and gives a good feeling. The quality of the food is as usual. We had a plateau royal that even if ordered for 2 was sufficient for all 4. We asked for the paella fruit de met (which has anyhow quite a bit of meat and sausage) again the size for 2 feeds 4, actually we left some. And a creme brûlée a house speciality: served cold but is delicious.Let's not mention the price because it's expensive.
Very good restaurant. Good location, nicely decorated, tables inside and outside as well. Good quality food and wines. Huge portions. The only issue - it's overcrowded sometimes and if it is, the service may be not the best.
