This restaurant is really excellent in almost any hinsicht ambiente, decor, eating. we were greeted with a delicious caulfilower suppe with delicious brot before we order our starter (pte de foie gras) and roasted ente. weinliste was amazing with reasonable trips. the only negatiw. and this is unusual, the service was too fast. they seemed that we were done soon, so I just said that I wanted a break between the curses and finally committed them. but destined to visit, as it was so good to eat.
I had dinner on the terrace with friends and we took the complete tasting menu. we had an amazing experience with a very friendly and patient staff that led us perfectly through all our decisions. the small Rouget fish were particularly delicious and the cheese. the plate was just amazing. overall the atmosphere was charming. I'll go back and encourage you to check the place.
We wanted a restaurant outside of fontainebleau, and we met a fantastic choice! we were 6 people and landed on the outside terrace on the auberge d’auvers galant. the terrace is classic simplicity, with super-obtrusive service, over terrace with non-French loudspeakers and spectacular dining. we all have the tasting menu, that's the one to go away. app, fish, meat, cheese and dessert. everyone was better than the next. we have made the mistake to plan our future about fontainebleau, but neglected the return, and given the boulian representation, few were late at night (actually only one.) the owners took interest in our notion and even gave back half of us. Yeah, that's right. that is how good the service is. with the food in harmony. when they go, they have a car, or have a plan to not burden the owners as we did. when I return to france, I will go directly to this restaurant and recommend it to anyone who visits somewhere in the southeast of paris. I can't wait to give it back to these lovely owners. j’aime tellement cet endroit!
This place really has everything. this is an authentic French cuisine as they will ever experience. the service was excellent, friendly and courteous. every court we tried was full of explosive aromen and was beautifully plated. a large wine selection is available. The restaurant is decorated in classic French style without being cuddly or pretentious. there is a youthful feeling for the restaurant that is refreshing, and the chef even came out to talk to us before he left. it is easy to understand why this place has a Michelin Star rating. well done! tip: try the duo chocolat for dessert. the passion fruit seeds on the top of the chocolate is the perfect contrast and will blow their mind.
Although a bit fancy lost in the middle of a nowhere village this restaurant offer a really good quality meal especially after an outdoor day. You can walk or bike from Caribou Aventures if you don 't want to be with a table d 'hôte concept where...you share the meals with the group but more a romantic table that this auberge give this option.
