To be honest, this is my favorite restaurant and I've been on my way for years. last couple times, if I or someone with me the chicken parmesan and roasted ravioli the huh was much thinner and hard to chew. my man got it back last night and the same thing happened again. now I wonder if it is because we come to the end of the time, which means that we come around 7:40 to 8:15, depending on the night of the week. What Janelle Douglas doesn't like about The Chateau Italian Family Dining:
We've eaten here a number of times over the years. Unfortunately, the amount of food for the cost was not worth it and we won't be back. Our son ordered Trio number four and it looked more like an appetizer than a meal. View all feedback.
Only one night to eat. the food was good. the waitress was energetic and friendly.
Now, as said, we or I have the buffalo chicken pliers and they were thick and big and tasty. I have to tell them that I am conspiring for their roasted ravioli, but not so much lately. still my favorite place.
All of our food orders were just “meh” and expected more for price we paid. Service/server were great!
The place was very clean and the service was very good and friendly. The ambiance doesn’t stand out. It felt like a place to go for a quick meal off the interstate. The food was good but tasted like it came off the truck, whereas I like fresh and homemade tasting Italian dinners. I think you can reliably get the same experience in the meal if you regularly come here, but for the value and quality, I will go to a more authentic Italian restaurant. There is a bar/pub section on the other end of the building which seemed nice to get a drink. One final note, I made the reservation under OpenTable, but when I got home, I had an email from OpenTable mentioning I didn’t honor the reservation to which I replied back and stated that I did honor it and even gave the total of my bill. OpenTable gave me the credit and apologized, but this would not have happened if The Chateau would had done their part and annotated in their system that we did indeed honor our reservation.
It was not my first time at The Chateau, I have been enjoying their food for years and it was as expected... very good. My party had a variety of italian specialties from the Riggatoni Bolonese, to the Fra Diavalo, to Clams over liguini. All were reported as very good.
