Looked up on trip advisor for evening meal and found Scoffs . Nice clean entrance and sanitizer in place . Ordered fish chips for two and awaited delivery to a separate table . Just 5 minutes later they were ready for us to takeaway. Friendly goodbye from the owner . Got back to our room to enjoy really fresh fish and crunchy delicious chips . Just lovely and those chips were just something else , thanks . View all feedback.
What NATBET doesn't like about Scoffs:
It said Yorkshire Fish and Chips on the door and would you believe it they where brilliant. Home made mushy peas, Haddock skin on, brilliant chips, pot of tea and the staff where excellent service with a very big smile. I don’t know what they cook the chips in, but they are too die for !We’ll be back. View all feedback.

Never really understand why this place doesn't seem as busy as it should. Staff are great. Food is great. Portion sizes are good value; kids meals definitely. We enjoyed it... just felt a little bleak
A real fool! beautiful and helpful staff. chips were beautiful and fluffy on the inside and had a unique crispy outer coating I wish I had a xl!
Very friendly staff, they recognize my parents who get the usual when they visit. fish and chips were delicious. the chips are unusual, not greasy and with a little crunchy to the outside. several tables to eat if necessary. the place was also very clean and bright. portioning that we have a good size too. note that they are only cash, no credit cards. highly recommended.
