Contribute FeedbackCarousel offers well-prepared Armenian specialties with a partly vegan menu in Glendale. However, some vegan items contain animal products, so vegans should be cautious. Despite this, the restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan options, including cashew-based yogurt. The family-style dining option is perfect for sharing with loved ones. The restaurant also takes extensive safety precautions during the pandemic. The menu can be overwhelming, but the staff is helpful in guiding guests. Overall, Carousel provides delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a highly recommended dining destination for families and groups.
Fun place to eat with no veg eater. wait they will work with them on vegan options.
Eat well prepared Armenian specialties so popular in the glendale part of la county. partly vegan menu. Unfortunately, reispilaf and yogurt style items on vegan menu are made clear with chicken broth and real yogurt. no warnings only false advertising. there are real vegan items on the menu, so if they go with a mixed amount they are still in the position to eat.
Good and service. it should be known that the hoofed broth has.
I've been going to carousel for years and eating is still delicious. be aware that everything on the vegan menu is not vegan! I had a waiter a few months ago, who saw us with the vegan menu and asked if we were vegan. she then informed us that some of the objects there are only vegetarian. when they are vegan, they do not eat the mutabbal as it is yogurt or the spinat fatoyers (sp, as they are brushed with butter. also is not a rice vegan, it is all made with chicken broth! I was quite upset when I found out I've been there for so long. I have annoyed myself about it and I have gone back, but I'm asking what's in the line.
I ate last night at Carousel after being tipped off by a friend that they had a special vegan/vegetarian menu. The restaurant served a wide variety of middle eastern dishes, mostly meat but they have been thoughtful in creating a vegan menu that doesn't disappoint. My husband and I elected for the family style vegan fixed menu which was about $25 each and boy the plates kept coming. Delicious selection of side dishes, salads, pickles and small entree plates. We ended up taking tons of it home as there was truly an overwhelming amount of food for 2 people. If you don't mind being surrounded by meat eaters, and are wearing stretchy waistband pants, I'd totally recommend this place.
