The Boat House Ormesby Broad

This was my first time visiting The Boathouse, after previously dining at The Waterside, and it definitely won't be my last. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was delicious, and the service was very quick from the friendly staff.

I couldn't find any faults with this restaurant! The decor, food, cleanliness, and even the toilets were spotless. The staff were amazing despite being very busy. We didn't feel rushed at all and were able to relax and enjoy our meal. I can't wait to go back!

Today our family of 10 enjoyed a superb Sunday Roast at this restaurant. The roast was one of the best we've had, with all fresh homemade dishes that were plentiful. The staff provided first class service, being friendly and helpful throughout our meal. It was quite busy, so I would recommend booking ahead. The food was hot and delicious, with a good selection of vegetables, although some of us didn't care for the red cabbage and peas being mixed together. The desserts were beautiful, with the Boathouse Sundae being a particular favorite, although the rocky road at the bottom was quite hard. The restaurant has a great location by the river, with outdoor tables available and plenty of parking. We would definitely visit again.

The Boathouse is a beautiful restaurant to eat in lovely surroundings. The moment you walk in staff are happy to greet you . It was full capacity on Sunday afternoon. The staff are so attentive and polite . The Sunday roast was delicious and plenty of selection for a roast on the plate and a good price too , plenty of choice for the menu to choose from . Highly recommend the boathouse definitely will become a regular there . Well done to all the staff couldn’t do enough for you

Wow. The food was excellent. Best meal my wife and I have had for a long time. Pork loin was to die for. Good service. Very friendly staff.
