Good Thai flavours. Many dishes unique and quite adventurous. Whitebait entrée excellent and duck curry something to write home about. Very quiet in the evening, a little pricey, but we'd definitely return. View all feedback.
What Brandon Thomas dislikes about Prasit's Northside Thai:
I can't imagine any scenario where I would return to Thai Prasert for another meal. This restaurant represents everything wrong with thai restaurants in Sydney in my opinion. Each of the six dishes we ordered were far too sweet and all lacked spice. There was no balance of flavours whatsoever (which is the signature of authentic thai food) and we could not finish a single main course dish as there was nowhere to hide f... This is a great little thai place in the middle of North Sydney. I love it for lunch as there is usually not too many people there (unlike dinner) and the service is always great. Recommend the scallops which are to die for and the prawn curry which is amazing. The actual restaraunt itself is quite pleaseant as well
Ate here on a Monday nightNo I didnt have a booking, but as a solo traveller I didnt think it would be an issue - and you were not busy.Food was nice enuff, but the service sucked. The initial wait person was rude and condescending, I think it was noticed as I was then served by a lovely older lady
It was a work team lunch and we all thought Thai was a great idea.now let me say the food was fine ... down graded for the average Australian taste buds .... it would have been better with extra spice but.... and it's a big but .. . the 30 min wait for menus and tap water, not to mention we had to ask for a 2nd bottle as 1 didn't fill all our glassesthen there was the further 45 minutes prior to any food getting to the table ....all I can say is it tainted the whole experience. ...
Good service, huge menu (as always in Asian restaurants), but food was great. Ordered several dishes to share, and everything was to everyone's liking.
