The food preparation was fabulous as always. The cauliflower augratin delicious. This was a birthday celebration for my niece. Our only complaint was the slow service. Our server and was very slow. We waited almost a half hour for dessert to arrive. I dine there frequently and was disappointed with the service. View all feedback.
What Francisco Weber doesn't like about Romaine's:
We had a gift certificate so thought we would give it a try. Food was good although my meal; shrimp fettuccine was very salty. My husband enjoyed the scallops. I would be hesitant to go back as it was very, very loud and not contusive to a quiet dinner. View all feedback.

First time here! I'm giving a 4 star because I think our waitress could have been friendlier during service.
We are BIG fans of Romaines .. the renovations are beautiful .. welcoming and very nice trendy .. waiting area is awesome!!!!FOOD.. another story .. very disappointed... starters .. calamari was full of batter .. why ruin a good a good thing ... it Used to be amazing Next salad .. where is the Caesar that we loved .. were we the only ones who loved this?Entrees.. oh boy! The shrimp now has a funky red sauce ..And the haddock was very dry and .. might be better as a fish and chipOverall .. Romaines is no longer a fine dining restaurant it is more of a bar and you should go there expecting a burger or lighter fare ..it's something the area might need but you should not be paying the price of the older Romaines and receiving a lesser menuWe never minded spending a larger amount for dinner and a great bottle of wine when the food equaled what we paid .. but now I will still be a fan of Romaines but know that I should keep my food choices to the burger or fish tacos They changed the look and the menu but they forgot to change the name .. not Romaines anymore
You should be able to book a reservation for a booth and get a booth when you get there. Arturo's does this and that's why we go there now..
