Islands Northridge

Excellent restaurant was not only the service great the eating was amazing. had to wait half an hour on Saturday, but it was worth waiting. I would recommend the best islands restaurant I came to.

This was my first visit to this particular island restaurant, and although I have dined at island locations before, I was slightly disappointed this time. Typically, the quality of food at island restaurants is excellent, but I found the Kilauea burger with avocado to be lacking.

I recently tried the Islands in Porter Ranch for the first time after my favorite location in Simi Valley closed. I placed a to-go order and was disappointed with the experience. The quesadilla appetizer did not come with salsa or sour cream, which are usually included, and the Tiki Tenders came with honey mustard but no ranch dressing as requested. The Toucan and Big Wave entrees were served as sandwiches instead of with the standard fries. The food was decent, but not up to the usual standard I expect from Islands - the bread on the Toucan was burnt and the chicken overcooked, while the Big Wave was underdone but still tasty. The Tiki Tenders were the highlight of the meal. I typically tip 50% on to-go orders, as I know people can be stingy with tips for takeout, but even with a generous tip, the order was not correct this time. I usually enjoy meals from Islands, even for takeout, but this visit was disappointing. It's not worth the time and drive. I really miss the Simi Valley location!

Service was good, fast and everyone was friendly. the food was delicious! from the cheddar fries appetizer, to the burgers, to the kona pie dessert, it was all amazing! will definitely come back

The service was excellent. I celebrated my 21st birthday and it was a fantastic experience. The waitress was very friendly. The drinks and burgers were delicious. Unlike some other places, the fries were cooked perfectly here. To top it off, they surprised me with a birthday brownie ice cream dessert, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
