Contribute Feedback What Jess Carroll likes about Sfizio Cucina e Caffé:
We didn’t eat here during our week in Norwood but got coffees here on a few mornings and it was good. Food looked pretty good too. Seems to get a bad wrap but I didn’t get a sense of the from what I saw. View all feedback.
What Darwin Conroy doesn't like about Sfizio Cucina e Caffé:
Service was terrible. Bread was stale when I sent it back the waitress threw the new bread basket at the table and stormed off. Main was lasagne. Piping hot on the edges and stone cold in the middle suggesting it had been frozen and microwaved. Was so loud that we couldn't hear each other talking. Toilets are up stairs and not disabled accessible. Give this one a miss. View all feedback.
Very disappointing. Apart from being noisey, I had the "house" Sfizio pizza which was the worst pizza I can remember. It was just a solid warm base with cold proscuito and rocket, almost impossible to cut and without any sign of the "buffalo" bocconcini. Staff were friendly, reasonably attentive and concerned, but had no idea how to deal with complaints other than offering a free coffee. It used to be my mother's local, but she assures me that she won't be back again.
Newly opened and transformed from a former restaurant site, the layout is similar to the older but with a fresh and appealing clean modern look. Offering a reasonable range of meal choices, the prices are on par with expectations with a range of Pizza, Pasta and primarily Italian influenced meals. Tonight we chose a Pizza and was pleased with the choice. It was made and delivered to our table promptly during a cleansing ale. Our son had a pizza from the kids menu (freshly made just smaller, so a better kids menu I think) There are about 5 or good choices for kids. Staff at this stage are pretty new, so have to give them a chance to settle in so wont really judge at this stage, suffice to say they did OK. I suppose our greatest criticism was the noise. The atmosphere was loud even though there was only about a 25% patronage at the time we were there - A full restaurant would be deafening. I wish them well. At this stage not the best choice on the Parade, but is early days
Nice to have another choice on the Parade. This place is modern and nicely done with an excellent menu. We tried the garlic bread and pizza and were not disappointed. The pizza had a beautiful crispy base and just the right amount of toppings. We will definitely be back to try more!!
I came here this week and had a great coffee and a delicious ham and cheese croissant. Baby friendly - good service. Makes me want to come back for more and to try their dinner menu.
Staff was friendly. I ordered a warm chicken salad. Chicken was tender and seasoned nicely, nice balance of ingredients. Only complaint was a bit too much caesar sauce. Missus had the spaghetti bolognese and enjoyed it. We'll definitely be going there again, probably try their pizza next.
