Waren am Samstag Mittag in Rahmen einer kleinen Geburtstagsfeier im Sanders. Die Zubereitung der Speisen und deren Qualität hervorragend. Allerdings waren der Service am Tisch alles andere als zuvorkommend. Zum Hauptgang kamen die Beilagen tlws. bis zu 20 Minuten später, was von der Servicekraft schnippisch und mißmutig mit ".. die Küche kann nicht alles gleichzeitig liefern... kommentiert wurde. This restaurant was just a shortish walk from the Acom hotel (therefore near Nordostbahnhof station). Quite busy and popular - we hadn't booked, but we were made to feel most welcome. They do have a slightly confusing menu translated into English, but essentially you come here for the steak. And it's very nice, and the service is top-notch. Our bill for two fillet steaks, salad, two drinks and one dessert came to 70 Euros. Which for the quality, was worth it.

We arrived without a booking after 8 pm and were lucky to be seated straight away. The service was quick and we soon found ourselves sipping on beer and reading the menu. I had a 450g American roast beef steak, which came with a slight amount of fat. A salad and a portion of mushrooms and a pepper sauce finished off my order. All steaks over 300g come on a "hot plate" which is actually 2 plates, the inside one being very hot. This allows you to cut small slices and cook the meat further as to your taste. I found the steak to be excellent quality. The waitress was attentive throughout and we had the chance to order another beer. My bill came to 60 euros, half for the steak, and half for the extras. I have no hesitation on recommending this restaurant to the more discerning patron.
All food too salty, meat overcooked, no special requests even for medical reasons respected and slow and not too friendly service. However location is stunning. Wine list with room for improvement and overpriced.
This place has a homey atmosphere with a professional cuisine. Always with seasonal produce and a traditional yet fresh menu.
