The Hideaway - Oconomowoc

Fantastic food at this fun little hideaway literally which offers an outdoor patio with nice views of Okauchee Lake. The tacos are always a winner, as is their Chicken Tortilla Soup when it's available. Tried several other menu items, all good. No photos available, as we scarfed everything down right away.

If it weren't for terrible customer service, there wouldn't be any at all. It's truly unbelievable. I understand that they may be short-staffed, but waiting more than 15 minutes to be greeted, having to get our own water, and paying double the price for undercooked pizza is unacceptable. The to-go container we received was barely big enough for one slice of pizza, leading us to try and cram half a pizza into it. The only redeeming quality was the friendly old man behind the bar, which is why they are receiving one star (I wish I could give them half a star).

I felt comfortable and at home even though I was quite far from my own house. I felt welcomed and at ease with two options for indoor or outdoor. Lovely workers and atmosphere. I would certainly go back to this location at any chance, it's quite a catch. Certainly a place where one can be seen for the black sheep that they may be

Stopped in with my wife for a few cocktails and had a great time. Bartender was so friendly along a few great locals. Didn't order dinner but the food coming out if the kitchen looked fabulous!

This restaurant has improved significantly since my last visit a few years ago. The service is quick, the ambiance is wonderful, and the food has also improved greatly. I tried the steak risotto and it was delicious! The Caesar salad was also superb, with just the right amount of dressing.
