Uncle Julio's - Orland Park

We went to one of our favorite restaurants to celebrate a family member's birthday. Despite having made a reservation, we were asked to wait for a table upon arrival. The restaurant was busy so we understood and only had to wait a short time before being seated. It took 15 minutes before a server approached us to drop off chips and salsa, and another 10 minutes before our waiter took our drink orders. Unfortunately, the slow service led to a three-hour dinner, leaving us feeling disgruntled and disappointed by our experience.

The food was delicious! Our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, but not necessarily proactive in ensuring drink refills or other needs. We would have ordered dessert, but he didn’t even ask! (Just brought the check)

We had a reservation for 4 people at 6:45pm. We were told it would be awhile to be seated because people were “lingering “. We were finally seated at 7:25! What is the point in making a reservation when you end up waiting almost 45 minutes. Service was not that great, it seemed like they were understaffed. I will never go back there.

The food here is excellent! The Chocolate piñata was delicious.

I made a reservation for four and arrived 20 minutes early, but we still had to wait an extra 10 minutes for a table. Our waiter only came to our table four times during the two hours we spent waiting for our drinks and food, which was surprising. A table of eight nearby, seated 30 minutes after us with the same waiter, received their service much faster and even left before we did. Despite the unsatisfactory service, everything else about the restaurant was impressive.
