The food has been consistently delicious, with standout dishes such as lamb kabob and saffron rice. The service is praised by many, with staff members like Reza going above and beyond to provide a top-notch dining experience. However, some diners have expressed disappointment with aspects such as understaffing during special occasions like Easter brunch and Thanksgiving. Despite mixed reviews on the wine list and some service hiccups, Nora's cozy ambiance and outstanding food have made it a favorite spot for many in Dallas, with some even willing to make the drive just to enjoy a meal there.
We were there for the day of mother. overall a beautiful experience, but service was not as good or as a reclaim as it should have been for the price. a mimose as courtesy for mother would have been a nice touch, ended with $14.00 for one and it took too long to be ready. our waiter did not come often enough to get empty plates and refill water.
Food and service have not been bad, but I expected an other gourmet standard. If you are used to european gourmet restaurants, you will be disappointed. According to advertising the wine list should have 500 bottles. Actually the about 40 50 wines fit on one page. Having 10 of each in cellar, 500 Wines is not wrong ; Service is nice, but do not expect a great experience...
A really nice place for Mother's Day brunch. quiet and good eating
Everything was very good, but the service was not 5 stars. they took our plate w/ food still on it. had to ask for a lot of things. not a lot of attention, which is ok, but they do need to pay a little more and ask if everything is ok and if you need anything. service was the biggest part that was lacking. again..not awful but thought I should bring it to your attention. this was NYE dinner. thanks
We had a 2:45 reservation for Thanksgiving and by 3:10, the omelette bar and carved station were already closed. It was disappointing! We expressed our concern and asked why they accepted a 2:45 reservation, to which the manager explained that his staff had closed early. Ultimately, he comped our dinner.
