What Lane Fullenwider doesn't like about The Royal Oak:
I have previously dined at The Royal Oak on many occasions. Unfortunately, on this occasion, I was a little disappointed. We service we received this time, was not up to the usual standard and I found the steak a little chewy. Has not put me off returning though. View all feedback.
We enjoyed the food quality very much. the staff was extremely helpful, but we didn't feel too fast. the restaurant is very light and airy, which helps to make it a pleasant experience.
Unfortunately, certain main courses were not available due to gas problems. that meant that the things could not be cooked in a pan that was disappointing.
Some of us had the vegetarian roast that we all thought really nice; perhaps overgenerated in a lot no one of us could end it completely. the service and everything were very good and we hope to come back.
Beautiful evening. Restaurant staff welcomed the Christmas decoration was beautiful! it was cozy warm, eat better than expected, only after 1 hour waited for our food. we were very hungry!
Lovely place for a meal.super food and ambiance. Waiter was lovely but he was stretched too thinly
