Extensive drinks’ menus with high quality drinks. I even found my favorite one, Pornstar Martini. Great view to the sea, within walking distance to several hotels and friendly staff

We had to wait unacceptably for a long time, first ordering then left it at least minutes before the food was served. Some in the staff nonchalant, nothing to recommend service. Praise for good schnitzel

We came early, maybe and the place was almost empty. We got good seats outside and after a while a waiter came so we could order. Then we waited and waited and waited. We waited min for food. The table next to us...ordered after us and got served before us. In the end we asked and min later, out the food came. Makes you wonder how long it’s been sitting and waiting for someone to serve it. Honestly, the food was delicious! But when you have to small kids and years waiting almost an hour for food does not work. If it had been a date, we would have managed with more drink. And the food for the kids from the children’s menu had the veg delicious ON TOP of the mashed potatoesalso delicious. If you have small kids, you know what I’m at here. Luckily our smallest isn’t picking with mixing food yet, so he ate the mash and veg. The oldest ate the mash which hadn’t been touched by the veg

We chose the Meerbar because it was close to our hotel and it looked lovely. Both things were a plus, but sadly the staff, from the moment we walked in, acted like they wished we hadn’t. My husband is German so they could not blame...it on a language problem! There was not one person inside the restaurant but when we asked for a window seat they said they were all reserved. Okay then. We sat at an inside table and the bright sunlight was extremely blinding coming in one of the windows. We asked the hostess if she could pull the blind and she just looked at us and replied “nein”. And walked away. Food was okay but nothing to rave about
