Contribute FeedbackARC The Hotel in downtown Ottawa provides great rooms and service, with reasonable rates. The restaurant offers delicious soups, lunch options, and a cozy atmosphere. Reviewers enjoyed dishes like octopus in BBQ sauce and elk ribs, along with attentive service and a nice wine selection. However, some found the desserts lacking, and one experienced food poisoning. Overall, it's a good spot for work gatherings or a casual meal. Prices are around $150 per night, with garage service and a fitness area available. Despite some mixed reviews, most guests would consider returning for another visit.
The staff here are amazing. Always friendly and nice to talk to. The food is trying to hard and they need some more basic options.
I have stayed here a lot and am never disappointed. The staff are unfailingly polite. I never have any hassles. The rooms are quiet, and the beds wonderful. Because of its size it is easy to get around and avoids the hassles of bigger places. I often consider staying somewhere else to see if it will be better but am glad everytime that I just stick with the ARC.
Had lunch there a few times, atmosphere is great. Not super loud and tables are nicely spaced so you can have a reasonably private conversation. Menu has some interesting choices with steak and frites as well as burgers and panini. The presentation is lovely. I would recommend their short rib, burger and their turkey brie sandwich. Quite a nice spot for lunch!
Great serving staff, cozy atmosphere. This is a great spot to meet with workmates for a Friday evening wrap-up. The food is fine and the drinks are made to order. It has become a regular haunt.
Had dinner and breakfast here and they were both very good. Very attentive wait staff. But not accessible. In 2017? In the nation's capital? Not good.
