Heart & Crown - Ottawa

We were very pleased with this place where we went to eat and drink beer both in the evening. music and environment, decoration was very nice. Despite the fact that our waiter started to work new, it was very successful. We said the unpleasant mint and painful chicken and shared three people. The option of beer was also quite much. Beverage and dining prices were also normal. again.

This location recently made some changes to its menu. some new items.Also they have reduced the size of existing item such as fish and chips but have left the price the same. Many other items are now much smaller. Even the portion of fries or salad with your meal is smaller but prices like i said remain the same. I have been going here 1 or twice a week for years as i work in the building attached. It used to be fairly good food for a good price. now its just fairly good food overpriced for the portion.New female bartender during the day and her service is awful and very fake. my co-workers and I are now looking at other restaurants options as our new go to for our lunches out.

Although in a good location parking can be difficult. Fish and chip portions were smaller than expected and a bit greasy. This is very much a sports bar relying on short skirted wait staff rather than quality fare.

Good food (spicy chicken curry was excellent with just enough heat) but we were sitting at the bar and there was a peculiar and unpleasant odor when the dishwasher ran. But otherwise, good service.

Always clean and we'll run. Have been a few times recently and the other day had lunch with an Ottawa friend and we had a good time. Beer choice excellent and menu a bit above most pubs. I had a lunch special, crispy chicken wrap with Caesar salad and my friend had a regular burger. We both enjoyed our lunch
