Contribute FeedbackLowertown Brewery offers a small menu of delicious beers and complementary foods. The dry stout and pale ale were solid examples of their styles. The food options, from peanut encrusted maple bacon to mango habanero wings, were flavorful and satisfying. The service was friendly and welcoming, with standout servers like Matty and Jamie. While some experienced issues with cold food or slow service, most found the overall experience enjoyable and would consider returning. The location in Byward Market, great beer selection, and cozy atmosphere make it a top choice for those looking to enjoy good brews and food in a welcoming environment.
Stopped at Lowertown Brewery today for drinks and lunch. Sat on the outdoor patio were there were 3 other occupied tables. The couple who came in after us got menus and drinks right away while we sat waiting for service. A waitress looked our way but never came to us. The waiter serving the tables beside us spoke to them with his back to us and we continued to wait for service. After being ignored twice I gave them one more opportunity. Both waitress and waiter looked at us but again neither came to give us a menu. As we got up to leave, the waitress looked at us yet again and turned to go inside. The patio was not busy. Would not recommend.
We enjoyed a late lunch here on the patio. We were lucky to get a wonderful server, Casandra. It is nice to see servers who genuinely seem to enjoy their work. Definitely not easy on hot busy days. I enjoyed the vegetarian sandwich with fries and my husband had smoked beef brisket plate. Beers were nice and cold. This brewery is in a great people watching location in the Byward Market. Recommend.
Ambiente bem descolado. Voltaríamos.
Lots of seating. Food was decent enough. My dining buddy is a foodie and he indicated hos pulled pork burger/snadwich wasn't really falvourful. My fish and chips was a absolutely fine. Chips were large and hot. I saw another table being served a hardy dish of poutine which looked very enticing. Decent enough beer and wine menu for a pub.
We had dinner here 2 weeks ago and came away very disappointed. My husband said that the best thing about the dinner was the ketchup. The beef and chicken were both very dry and two of the beers in the tasting fleet were just insipid. Won't be returning.
