We love this place. We find that there is LOTS of food for the price- it is good quality- nut sesame free. My family of 4 orders on FRI nights- about $55.00 worth of goodies and we have lunch next day daddy) is still eating it on Sunday lunch. View all feedback.
What Wilfredo Ritchie doesn't like about New Town Chinese Food:
I found haare in my food I got as takeout. I called to inform them about the haare and the man told me: “Well, you have haare to hear it,” I know I have haare. but my hair texture is not what I found in my food. it was black straight hair and I wasn't amusing. I've been a customer of her for about three years. I'm not gonna buy her. View all feedback.
One of my Favorite Chinese places. I found Nugget's review completely OFF. I even looked up his POSITIVE reviews on Chiense Food and he found Liang's Chiense food on St. Laurent BETTER!? Is he joking!? <br/ <br/ First of all, the BEST general TAOS chicken in Ottawa is served here. Hands down, nothing is better. Since I always order the general taos, chicekn fried rice, chicken guy ding, and the chicken chop suey I cannot speak for the other dishes. <br/ <br/ I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to try the best general tsao's chicken in the city. If you want a small sample, just order the combo!
Always a great take out place. Great egg rolls. Love the chicken and broccoli. But the current menu attached on Zomato is not up to date. I suggest to go to the restaurant’s website for up to date date prices. Excellent and fast delivery.
I enjoyed the dishes at this restaurant very much. Classic Canadian Chinese taste. So far tried Pork Chow Mein, Cantonese Chow Mein, General Tao's Chicken and Egg Rolls. Will be going back for sure. <br/ <br/ Update: Tried it again lately and found the quality was terrible.
We love it! Terrific food great service and the best spring rolls ever!! I love ordering on line and we are now ordering weekly
The food isn't amazing but it's worth what you pay. Dinners for one come with an egg roll, fried rice, veggies and a main dish, and after tax are $11. The open end spring rolls are good and are around $1.25. The curry chicken is tasty, but mostly veggies, which I expected at it's price. Overall, worth a try, and if you're in the area it's not a bad option to fill up for ten dollars.
